Diana is qualified both as a business lawyer and an insolvency practitioner, her expertise enabling her to achieve outstanding results in consultancy projects covering judicial and voluntary reorganization, pre-insolvency proceedings, bankruptcy and liquidation, asset recovery and /or negotiations with debtors and creditors.
Her expertise also includes assisting and representing clients in insolvency proceedings; identifying settlement opportunities and ensuring the benefit of privileged or secured debts in case of threatened bankruptcy; providing restructuring strategies and contributing to the drafting of reorganization plans; assessing legal feasibility of reorganization plans proposed by either debtor or creditor.
Diana is also an author and lecturer on practical restructuring and insolvency matters.
Assisted one of the largest companies of Italian origin operating in the field of wastewater collection, treatment and disposal, in connection with the recovery, in insolvency proceedings against a Romanian debtor, of a multi-million euro debt.
Assisted a major Romanian bank on complex legal issues related to the recovery of claims of approximately EUR 15 million in insolvency proceedings against some of the bank's clients.
Assisted one of the largest electricity producers in Romania, both during the voluntary liquidation and bankruptcy proceedings, in developing and implementing the company's liquidation strategy, management of current operations and debt recovery actions.
Assisted one of the largest Romanian companies operating in the field of maintenance of electrical networks, both in the judicial reorganization procedure and in the bankruptcy procedure stage. During the reorganization period, the mandate was aimed at preparing the restructuring strategy and drafting the reorganization plan, while during the bankruptcy period the mandate mainly concerns the implementation of the strategy for the liquidation of the company's assets and the management of current operations.
Assisted a major local Romanian group of companies providing maintenance and repair of vehicles, in connection with opening the bankruptcy procedure against the largest insurance/reinsurance companies in Romania, City Insurance and Euroins and the recovery of a significant debts.
Assisted France's largest pharmaceutical manufacturer in insolvency proceedings against three major Romanian pharmaceutical distributors to recover multi-million euro commercial debts.
Assisted a leading Romanian company in the field of hydropower and hydrotechnical construction in Romania, currently in insolvency in developing a reorganization plan aimed at successfully reintegrating the company and paying off its debts amounting to approximately EUR 100 million.
Assisted one of the world's largest commercial jet aircraft leasing companies, managing at least 330 aircrafts, during the bankruptcy procedure of a major low-cost airline with respect to the recovery process of EUR 10 million.
