Assisted one of the largest multinational fast food chain, in connection with a multi-million Euro financing and also expropriation procedures according to Romanian law, the latter including representation in front of Romanian courts.
Assisted a strategic real estate investment company, in connection with the acquisition of a major stake in a building project company. The mandate included the due diligence process, negotiations and concluding the transaction documents and corporate related advice.
Assisted a major multinational automotive company, in connection with a joint venture entered into with a major automobile manufacturer, a multi-jurisdictional transaction, particularly in conducting its due diligence on the Romanian subsidiaries.
Assisted a number of international banks, members of the Association of Global Custodians, in connection with the custody of securities and other assets in Romania, and risks related in case of insolvency of Romanian custodians. The Association of Global Custodians is a group of 12 financial institutions that provide securities safekeeping services and asset servicing functions to primarily institutional cross-border investors worldwide.
Assisted a major Romanian bank (part of an Austrian provider of financial services in Central and Eastern Europe), in relation to novation agreements for local trades with derivatives, matters relating to the possible way of enhancing and protecting some assets with artistic value and matters relating clients' personal data.
Assisted a major Romanian development bank, in a multi-million dispute regarding the application of fiscal benefits, applicable in accordance with legislation issued during the Covid-19 pandemic.
Assisted a Romanian subsidiary of an international actor on the telecommunications market in matters regarding disputes concerning public tenders carried out by Romanian contracting authorities, as well as obtaining specific authorizations.
