As an attorney at law, she has assisted and represented important national and international companies, in civil and commercial cases, in front of legal courts of all levels, ranging from ordinary court to the High Court of Cassation and Justice.
As an insolvency practitioner, Roxana has managed complex insolvency procedures, voluntary liquidation of companies and liquidation of non-profit organizations. Based on her extensive professional experience, she has attended, as speaker, various courses organized by the National Union of Insolvency Practitioners of Romania.
Represented the largest Romanian electricity producer during its’ voluntary winding-up and bankruptcy. Our mandate covered the complete liquidation process, including creating the assets realization strategy and plan and addressing all concerns relating to the company and debt recovery.
Administrated the bankruptcy procedure of the largest local construction companies. Previously, we represented the company in the observation period. The total amount of creditor’s receivables requested during the procedure amounted to roughly EUR 100 million.
Assisted one of the largest Romanian companies operating in the field of maintenance of electrical networks, both in the judicial reorganization procedure and in the bankruptcy procedure stage. The assistance during the reorganization phase was aimed at preparing the restructuring strategy, drafting the reorganization plan, carrying out a comprehensive analysis of the legal and economic activity of the company in order to maximize the debt recovery process, managing the assets problems and capitalizing the assets. During the bankruptcy period, the mandate consisted in preparing the strategy of liquidation of the company's assets, successfully completing the collective dismissal procedure, debt recovery actions and the management of current operations.
After analysing the financial and economic state of the one of the most important infrastructure construction company from Transilvania, represented the company for creating and respecting a constructive reorganization plan which led to payments of approximately EUR 10 million. To this we add the success of maintaining alive a company that currently pays all of taxes and keeps an important number of employees.
Assistance provided to one of the largest French manufacturer in the pharmaceutical field company, in the insolvency procedure of two important Romanian distributors of pharmaceutical products. Our mandate in both procedures includes the drafting of receivables claims, representation before the syndic judge and creditors' meetings, writing and defending appeals regarding the registration of debts in the list of debts, the global debts requested by all the creditors amounting to approximately EUR 63 million and EUR 1.85 million.
Providing legal assistance to a world-renowned company in the field of pharmaceuticals and medical devices, in the insolvency proceedings of two healthcare companies, in order to recover a series of debts arising from non-payment of bills and re-possession of the rented medical equipment.
Legal assistance provided to the liquidator of a holding company from Cyprus that, inter alia, has equity interests in several companies from Romania. The project involved a series of complex actions targeting mainly the replacement of the current management of the Romanian companies, analysis of the financial statements and the return of important assets disposed to the creditors’ detriment from the companies’ patrimony, for covering receivables in amount of over EUR 8 million.
Legal assistance provided to a leading Swedish company, provider of navigation systems and integrated bridge solutions, recognized training and simulation solutions, VTMS and coastal surveillance systems. Important commercial debts were requested and significant amounts were recovered from the insolvent IT company.
