Assisted one of the world leaders in technology – legal assistance in all employment issues in connection with its USD 2.1 billion acquisition of one of the biggest producers of smart health and fitness wearable devices (watches and bracelets).
Assisted a global bioscience company, in connection with a project of EUR 800 million, the intended sale of its division, a global market leader in the development and manufacture of natural colouring ingredients for food and beverages on employment law in all aspects of the transfer of employees, being actively involved in the due diligence phase as well as in the actual implementation of the transfer, the assistance covering all the necessary documentation such as business transfer agreement, notifications, individual decisions etc.
Assisted a global provider of products, solutions and services for energy and data management in the automotive industry in various employment court cases related to the investigation of a transnational informatics fraud, which led to a series of fraudulent transfers in the amount of EUR 40 million.
Assisted an American multinational technology company that focuses on e-commerce, cloud computing, online advertising, digital streaming, and artificial intelligence, in relation to a consistent and complex transfer of employees as well as a variety of labor related matters, on sensitive issues like employees’ health and safety; remote work, customized solutions for collective negotiations, on-call policies, temporary work agency or dealing with sensitive labor relations issues with key personnel.
Assisted a global leader in alternative asset management on the Romanian law employment matters of their USD 13.2 billion acquisition of 100% of the shares of a major company of equipment and infrastructure for the energy sector, including transfer of business and benefits issues.
Assisted a global leader in the supply of digital services, with annual revenues of circa € 12 billion and employing approximately 100,000 employees in 72 countries, in connection with the implementation of various annual employee share offerings in Romania.
Assisted one of the largest pharma chains in CEE on the employment legal aspects of the successful acquisition of the largest wholesale distributor of medicines in Romania and a pharmacy chain of +600 pharmacies.
Assisted one of the world’s leading clinical research organizations, in relation to the implementation of teleworking procedures, disciplinary investigation procedures, individual employment agreement issues, as well as representation in connection with several litigation files with former employees like challenging the dismissal decision or harassment claims.
