Anca Buta Muşat, Partner Muşat & Asociaţii, is the sole Romanian lawyer winning an international award at the prestigious International Law Office (ILO) Client Choice Awards 2010, due to her distinctive experience in competition law and outstanding client recognition. The Client Choice Awards are based on a complex research process taking into account more than 2,000 individual assessments received from senior corporate counsel worldwide.
Established five years ago, the ILO Client Choice Awards recognize those law firms and remarkable individuals who receive the highest recommendation from clients, based on criteria such as the quality of legal advice, billing transparency or responsiveness to client requests.
“This award stands out from other professional acknowledgments especially because it is based on our clients’ recommendations and feedback, thus confirming the high standards of our legal service”, says Anca Buta Muşat, Partner with Muşat & Asociaţii and head of the competition practice. According to clients’ statements, Mrs Anca Buta Muşat has “a proactive approach towards preventing rather than resolving clients’ potential issues”, providing “additional benefits to our activity”, and “given excellent advice enabling us to find simple solutions”. Another client states that she deserves the award “taking into account the high level of competences and professional skills repeatedly proven”.
The 2010 Awards cover 48 jurisdictions worldwide and list, among the winners in the competition category, two Magic Circle law firms, Clifford Chance and Freshfields. The complete list of winners may be accessed on the ILO website .
