We are seeking a dedicated, organized and proactive Assistant to support our Managing Partner in running smoothly the day-to-day operations. This role demands accountability, excellent communication and organization skills, as well as integrity and discretion. The expectations are that the Assistant to the Managing Partner will have a higher degree of support and self-management and maintain a high level of professionalism and confidentiality.

The role requires prolonged working hours paid accordingly and will include, but is not limited to the main responsibilities below.

Key Responsibilities:

  • serve as the main point of contact for staff and clients in the absence of the Managing Partner;
  • handle the phone calls, emails and other communications; answer where possible – highlight and prioritize those that need immediate attention
  • organize the agenda and coordinate meetings, via Outlook or Microsoft Teams
  • provide support in preparing documents, files or any information needed for various meetings, projects or attendance in Court
  • create materials required for the ongoing projects, such as preparing presentations or drafting/formatting documents
  • keep the records and organize the documents in specific files
  • maintain the database and the contact list of the Managing Partner
  • book transport and accommodation as and when required
  • provide direct support and anticipate the MP’s needs proactively

 

Required experience:

  • Bachelor’s degree, preferably in Administrative Sciences/ Sociology/ Foreign Languages
  • strong communication skills, both in Romanian and in English
  • ability to produce professional Word documents, Excel spreadsheets and PowerPoint presentations
  • excellent organizational skills (handling multiple tasks with a sense of urgency and confidentiality in dealing with sensitive information)
  • excellent attention to details and quality orientation
  • problem solving approach, loyalty, desire to work, integrity
  • minimum 2 years of experience in similar positions; experience in the legal field is an advantage.
